The newest member of the APX family, the APX900 features top-quality flamed maple back and sides and a solid spruce top. It delivers a rich, mature tone, with a punchy projection and a bright, long-ringing sustain.A lush and tonally versatile amplified repertoire comes of a newly designed 3-Band preamp, whose adjustable mid-band frequency covers a broad 80Hz - 10kHz spectrum. This not only allows control over the midrange but enables reshaping part of the low and high bands in addition to the dedicated bass and treble controls

The APX900 features a solid spruce top and flamed maple back and sides. The smaller body size creates a bright clear tone that perfectly cuts through any mix. Coupled to the latest ART pickup system, this is a guitar ready to perform.

These guitars are designed to provide great on-stage performance when playing with other musicians. The APX900 also features cosmetic upgrades and newly designed position markers for a guitar that is as beautiful as it is functional. The APX900 utilises Yamaha’s new A.R.T. (Acoustic resonance Transducer) pickup which offers the player the most natural sound of any acoustic pickup. The 3-way system used in the APX900 features separate pickups for full range, bass and treble and the System 57 preamp gives independent control over all 3 pickups, 3 band EQ and features and onboard chromatic tuner. Designed to be the ultimate performance pickup system, ART combines natural tone, outstanding dynamics and superior feedback rejection for an incredible on-stage experience.
