APX guitars are designed to be player live – and the APX700 as much as any. The APX700 utilises Yamaha’s new A.R.T. (Acoustic resonance Transducer) pickup which offers the player the most natural sound of any acoustic pickup. The APX700 is fitted with a 1-way A.R.T. pickup and uses the System 56 preamp. The 3-band equalizer gives the ability to accurately control the mid-range for versatility that meets any musician’s needs. The system is also equipped with an onboard tuner for easy tuning onstage or off.
